 Hi! I just wanted to start out with a little introduction. My name is Emily and I am a nurse in West Michigan. More importantly, I am a Christian. I am a single, churchgoing Christian woman (which can be challenging in West Michigan). Lately I have been seeing progressive Christianity, deconstructivism, and exvangelicalism showing up everywhere. I’ve noticed that progressive Christian posts on social media are often followed by gushing comments of assent, whereas historic Christian posts are followed by either angry dissenters or Christian commentators who respond to dissent with insults or poorly constructed arguments. My aim is to help point back to the Bible, address relevant topics in a thoughtful way, and help Christians defend the faith in ways that are both truthful and loving. I am learning and striving to be more Christ-like. I do not have it all together, nor do I have all the answers. I am working out my sanctification-I am a work in progress.  I hope that you will...
